Ascension of Christ church (Св. Спас) near Malovishte village

Near Malovishte village at altitude of 1910 meters on the territory of the National Park “Pelister” there is a church dedicated to the Ascension of Christ or “Spasovden”. The object is a one-aisled building with entrance from the south side and a semicircular apse in the east.
Near the church is the mountain peak Vrteška (2010 m.a.s.l), and next to the church there is an object – mountaineering house used by a large number of mountaineers, who are frequent guests in this part of Pelister National Park.
The bell set on the rock in front of the temple is one of the most photographed motifs of Pelister national park and it enriches the view towards the high peaks, Malovishte village and Pelagonija valley.
