The monastery church dedicated to St. Elijah (Св. Илија) is a relatively new object, which, according to the local population, was built on the foundations of an older monastery. The monastery is located on the outskirts of Rotino village, about 200 meters from the last house.
The thick beech forest of Baba Mountain, the arranged picnic area near the Monastery and the picturesque Rotino Lake, are the main reasons why this monastery is one of the favorite destinations for Bitola citizens.

How to get to the monastery
From the center of Bitola to the center of Rotino village leads an asphalt road in a length of 13 km. From the center of Rotino village, toward the south, on the outskirts of the village, the monastery St. Elijah is located, and up to it leads a narrow unpaved road, suitable also for normal cars.
