Č

In the historical data for Bitola, starting from the 15th century until the beginning of the 20th century, the names of a dozen hamams appear, the locations of which are in most cases unknown. Therefore, it cannot be said with certainty which of the mentioned hamams later received the name Deboj – warehouse.

The building is rich in architectural forms on the outside and plastic decoration on the inside that decorates the numerous rooms. According to its architectural and decorative characteristics, the building belongs to the golden age of Ottoman architecture. The organization of the space was strictly divided into a female and a male part. Over time, the building was damaged and repaired several times.
The Deboj has recently been preserved and restored, which has given it its original appearance, with a beautiful facade, several small and two large domes.

The building is used as an indoor market and recently a supermarket has been located inside.
